Below are some useful tips on how to troubleshoot and resolve many issues you may have with your PC and printer.  Please follow these steps first for these type of problems before contacting us.   Thank You

Printing Problems in Rumba

If you are having printing problems in Rumba, check and do the following.  First, make sure you have started the printer session (IRM Printer) for Rumba, the Pro-Client session is started and says ready, online & disconnect. (without this, nothing will ever print from Rumba). If that does not work, try printing something in Word to test printing from just Windows.  If that prints successfully, you must shut down Rumba and reopen it to try again. Left click the Page Setup button. Is the correct printer in the window?  If printing is not working at all from any application, sign out of Rumba completely, shut down your computer (power off), unplug the power from your printer, check the printer to ensure no jams are within it. Make sure all connections are good.  Disconnect the parallel cable from the printer. Reattach it to the printer very firmly. Disconnect the parallel cable from the PC. Reattach it to the PC very firmly. Put paper in the printer and power it on, making sure that the green ready light is on. Lastly power up your PC and go back in to reprint the Rumba report and it should work. If not contact us @ irmitsupport@irmmgmt.com or if your email is not functioning, call the IT Dept at (856) 797-8961.

Problems Connecting to Rumba

If you have are having a problem connecting to Rumba, first make sure you are connected to the internet by opening your web browser, Internet Explorer. Type www.search.com or www.google.com or www.yahoo.com in the address bar.  If the pages load within a reasonable amount of time, you have a good internet connection and should be able to access Rumba.  Try reopening Rumba again. If a web page will not load, you are not connected to the internet, and there is a problem with your Internet Service Provider. You will have to contact them to resolve the problem or to find out when it will be up and running again.

If you have high speed Internet access, you may try some steps to resolve this before contacting your Internet Provider.  Click here to see these steps before calling them

Rumba or your email will not work until your internet service is fully restored.  We can do nothing to restore or troubleshoot your Internet access or email problems caused by outside networks.  Do not mention Rumba to your ISP.  They will only get confused by the term.  Just mention that web pages will not load.
